"Tell 'em, tell 'em" for some brass, saxes, piano, bass and a drum set

It was said I doubled alto and tenor sax too much, so I know I'll have to fix that. Any others? (Mind the messy score, haha.)

It's just a fun piece, thats all I can say :) Funny how I came up with the ideas for this song, though, I started off with the piano's bass part (it was a bass back then) and the trumpet's melody, and as it evolved, I changed the electric guitar and extra electric bass to a piano and added in some saxes a trombone and drums and voila :)

*bump* Sorry for the triple post, but I want comments x_x Oh, and I kinda made a final draft of this song, so here it is. I took out some of the alto sax/tenor sax doublings and changed the trombone part around to make it more interesting; I also put an opt. 8va for the trumpet in some parts (although I kinda didn't put that for a complete phrase cuz... A above the staff? No way x.x). I kinda put a little more embellishments and finishing touches. You know you wanna listen to it and comment it :P Please? ._.;

EDIT: Oops I forgot to put it out of concert pitch, so if you could just, um, put it back to normal? Thank you =)

I must say that I that I like this one. Reminds me of some 50ies teen flick. lol. Could use alot more variation though. What if you add another trumpet to create harmony? And perhaps add a solo?

Lol, that was kind of cheesy feel I was going for XD And yeah, I'd need to make it longer to add more variation, which'd be a good thing cuz it's so short. Um, I was kind of thinking that they'd all be solos except for the trumpet (a duet sounds nice, maybe to blast the higher notes in the climaxes). Thanks for the comments/ideas, they're much appreciated =)

Erm....I only have finale '06 (Call me a caveman), so could you post a midi version? I know it'll sound crappy....but thnx...

I'm sorry, I would if I could but I can't because I use Finale NotePad 2007 (the free one), so I can't make midis =/ If someone out there who uses something that could turn it into a midi, it'd be appreciated =) Thank you for showing interest, Kal =) You can listen to it as soon as someone turns it into a midi.

Darn, I'm stuck with 06 too. Someone with the full version of 07 would have to make it a midi.

I wish I could say what hasn't already been said but...midi plsthnks. I like the title "Tell 'em, Tell' 'em" - it sounds like a fun song.

Reminds me of Greece - I love it. It's so cheesy (I hope that was what you were going for...???)...

I guess I don't know what else to say - I think you did a very good job on the entire composition - everything works together - the ideas progressed nicely and so was the development of the song. Only the ending felt kind of random to me - maybe thats just me going crazy. Anyway, really nice stuff - I want to hear more from you.
