Hard rock, something you've never heard before hopefully...

It's called Intense Silence. The name refers to two things: one, the area in the video game it was written for (an ominous fortress filled with monsters that could attack at any given moment), and two, after the long strings in the opening sequence there are brief periods of absolute silence punctuated by hard guitar and drum hits before the fun really starts. You'll see what I mean. ;)

Of all my compositions, currently about seventy, I've decided this one is my favorite so far. It took several hours to write and another several to humanize and make into a midi suitable for listening, and I can't wait until my guitarist partner can play it so I can mix it down to mp3. I changed time signatures here and there to throw the listener off, make sure they're on their toes. So I hope you enjoy it!

Here's the link.

I believe this is something we like to call "scallopin' as all hell." I would really like to hear an mp3 of that.

Thanks man! I hope the mp3 will be out before summer's end.

Most excellent.

The fake guitars sound pretty bad, but after importing it into Guitar Pro, it sounds much better. It allows me to enjoy the awesomeness.
