Is this place still alive?

Hey, is it just me or do the AD banners have new ads in them for the first time since I got here? Did Able Minds decide to keep this place? Or are they just sucking some more money out of it before it dies? And what is the expiration date on this site anyway? I know its sometime this month.

This site is basically dead. Except for the forum.

They don't publish new music either. It seems they've decided to let the site continue to run until it expires.

I'd heard it was sometime this month, too. I'll believe it when I see it. The Aztec calendar says the world is due to end on December 15, 2012. I'll believe that when I see it too.

As for the ads, they do change from time to time...not very often, though. I wouldn't take that to signify an umistakable sign of life.

Anyone know how Davey's replacement site is coming along?

I think the expiriration date is the 18th of this month but I'm not sure.

Well that sure as gently caress is coming up real soon. I guess we'll find out soon enough what'll happen. I sure hope Davey is done with his replacement, if not we'll have to hang aroung yahoo for awhile probably.

i think we should trust in Davey. I have a feeling he'll come through for us all.

He didn't seem to have any doubts about saving the site. Say, humnab, does that put him in line for a higher-ranking position in the monarchy?

If he controls the site it will make him effectively dictator, with the monarchy a useless appendige below him only there for show. Which it kinda is now anyway...but without a dictator above it of course.

He is not a dictator. He is our leader, protector and lover (?). He is, effectively, our God.

It's all in the way you look at it. People could say that about Saddam Hussein in Iraq if they actually felt for some reason that about him. A god is very capable of being a dictator. And he isn't now as he does not control this site. If he creates the new site and controls it then he will be.

Yes, I have plans to keep us going, and all will be revealed soon. I am just awaiting another email from Able Minds as to what happens on Thursday. I will let you know the minute I know what we must do.

If we migrate, there will be a temporary site (I will post the address before Thursday) for a short while, and then there will be a full site.

I will also not be a dictator! Any input to any aspect of my site (if implemented) will be graciously received.

I would be happy with being a 'Prime Minister', rather than being promoted up through the monarchy directly, if the public on the board feels that way.
