Musical Happiness

Featured Replies

I made this song. I don't know what to call it, but it's like musical happiness. When I wrote it I was trying to make something that sounded like something from an early pong-ish video game.

:D :D :D

Definitely cooooool :D

yay!!! *claps joyfully* that was great! I love the alberti bass with the melody, and I definately love the video game idea.

Thanks for putting a smile on my face!

Oh, I just read that thing at the top (duh) and as for the questions:

1. I didn't really use a technique...

2. It took 30 minutes to write.

3. A-B-A, I guess... If that's how you answer that question

4. No obstacles that I remember

5. Hap-magi-fun-ination (prounounced hap-ma-ji-f&n-i-'nA-sh&n)

Well, you pretty much accomplished what you set out to do... but the long sustained notes aren't effective in the synth texture, they just sort of sit there, with the Alberti bass under them not really going anywhere. Seems like you could do more to have something going on at any given time.

Not to bump my own OLD topic or anything, but...

I have a recording of the song.

YES, it is MIDI, but also YES it's still different.

1) It's mixed

2) The MIDI sounds won't screw it up.

OH!

Yes, I was Ungeniusman, but then I lost my password, and that email account, so as I had no way of recovering it...
