I know a way to compose music for free without using midi. first you download the fruity loops Demo then Audacity. In the demo version of fruity loops you can't save so, you export what you have then import it on to audacity as a mp3. Just to let you know Audacity is a freeware program and you can save on audacity. very simple. DofS
