Can you call people composers who compose music in programmes like GPO4?
Precisely this. Sound libraries to anyone who don't have an orchestra.

Upshifting

Ecstacies In The Dusk
Maybe Chopin on the Space Station V? This sound reminded me Space Odyssey instantly.

Top Gun theme arranged for large orchestra
Nevermind this avatar, it's just an old internet meme joke I quoted, that's not me really. Thanks for the comment. Indeed, the Paranoid piece was rendered with an outdated EWQLSO sampler, and at that time I didn't know how to use the articulations very well, I used less than 20, and it sounds too artificial to me today. In comparison, the Top Gun one had the EWQLSO with the expansion, and I used more than 30 articulations to render the music, what is a jump. Interesting to read that you liked the old one better, I guess I'll get back and listen to it again. Oh that's a long history. I made that to a thread on another forum (Mike Portnoy forums, to be precise), and it shaked everything out there. Although there are key clashes, it became surprisingly popular. Oh sure, I'm taking a listen to other pieces right now. Thanks, Ron.

Unrequited Love
That was simple but actually sounded beautiful.

What inspires you?
Dunno why, but I feel inspired mostly when I'm sad. The result is that all the stuff I compose is basically... sad stuff. :(

Top Gun theme arranged for large orchestra
And who doesn't know this song? I wrote this arrangement as an orchestration exercise. I used Sibelius 6 to write the score, then I used EWQLSO Gold XP Pro to render the version you hear. Man, it takes a lot of time to put all the thing together! I hope you guys like it, here it goes:
