Chord progression - Thema

Featured Replies

I thought I might want to try some conventional chord progressions, and why not start easy. So I've written some chords progressing for the piano, with some rhythm, then adding a melody,...

Somehow, this is the result this far.

What do you think?

That's very nice. Thank you.

I liked it very much, continue to maintain the flow you have don't change it until you are going for a real contrast :w00t:

And a score

Hoppas att det kommer forma sig till ett grymt stycke :)

Tack s

No No, so that people can actually help; and besides more people will help since there is a score.

Okay, I added a midi and a score,... Does anybody else need something else? Sibelius file? :D

Ok, since you asked, I listened to this and liked it ;)

I like the motif; i think it would work well if you started modulating it between a few keys, and then threw in something completely unexpected, and then tied it all together.

I don't know what I'm talking about, so don't take my word... but I like it both the sound and energy... it actually "moves forward".

Thanks, how nice of you =)

I do greatly appreciate your suggestion and might actually try it. So look forward to some nice unexpected piece of ... cake! ;)

Bit repetitive, but that gives it a folkish kind of feel. The melody can really use some variation, but not bad for something written this way around.

It wasn't supposed to be repeating the melody all the time, this is just a scrap, I was going to change it later. Thanks for listening anyway.
