Adventure Cue

Here's a cue for a game competition:

Castle Crashers In-Game 3

Hey there,

I enjoyed this. I hear some good use of GPO. I'm kind of wondering what the competition itself entails - what's this meant to represent?

Either way, nice rhythmic variety and some good orchestration. Keep up the good work ;)

It's for a cartoonish Medieval video-game, I suppose I just wanted to get my blood pumping on this cue, sound heroic and try to come up with some really solid orchestration. There's a handful of your standard film score tricks in there...

Hm...well then you might have a problem. It didn't really get my blood pumping or sound particularly heroic. It was too hesitant for that, especially near the beginning.

It sounded more like a theme for sneaking around somewhere important and then finding some treasure to my ears.

Very nice i enjoyed this piece.

I agree it sounds like a theme for sneaking around, sort of mysterious and like the comment on the website says i can imagine it set to an ice or cavern level. I'm a sucker for Celesta bells so i really liked the way you used them

Very nice piece keep up the awesome work!

Nothing too unconventional. Yes, I think this would be a good piece for a medieval game. Good work! Can I ask what sample library you used?
