Anyway, I was reading something by Nikolas about some Garritan stuff and he was saying something about their solo cello sample library. Was checking out the garritan.com page and they had an demo with Elgar's cello concerto. Thought the concerto wasn't too bad so looked for it on youtube and found this performance. Was blown away!!! I am in love with Jaqeuline!!! :blush::w00t: Now every girl/woman I see will pale in comparison :( Bye bye Scarlett Johansen!! I am not too familiar with classical performers, and before this Yo Yo Ma was the only cello player that I had really heard of. But I think he is boring in comparison to Jaqeuline (at least in this piece).

You have finally discovered a gem. The Elgar Cello concerto is a fanstastic piece with nearly anyone at cello, but Jacquleine Du Pre owned it. (she is also my favorite cellist to live) I especially like the recording of the Elgar she did with her husband, Daniel Barenboim.

I read her sister's book. Poor woman! But she made some beautiful music.
