Suggestions for Solo Instrument and Organ Composition

True, and F# major for a euphonium is fingered like an Ab major scale, so it even fits rather comfortably 'under the fingers'. You would have to actually base the piece in consideration of the instrument though, it has it's advantages and characteristics, and they differ from the 'cello's.

Hmm, I never thought about brass fingerings before since I know nothing about playing brass (the closest instrument I can play that requires breath and pretty specific fingering is the recorder). I'm pretty much close to becoming convinced about writing a version for the euphonium that I might give it a shot (or probably a new composition as well). :thumbsup:
