Pathetique in F minor

Featured Replies

HI :w00t:

i have no comment about my song ! i think it says everything about itself.

any evenhanded-suggestion would be appreciated.

thanks.... AMIR ;)

Wow!! That was pretty amazing! My first thought after the opening C minor chord was "Oh, no - he's copying Beethoven's Pathetique note by note", but I soon realised it was different (even though it does have a Beethovenesque feel to it at times). The slow theme has a very "pathetique"/depressed feel to it. And I really thought the presto theme is very impressive - would love to be able to play this - but is it actually playable by anyone other than concert pianists? I particularly liked the emphasized bass notes (is it the right-hand crossing over?) that you used when the presto theme first begins... but all of it is damn good. I'm sure this piece requires a lot of stamina to play though.

thanks finrod!

yes harmony in the first theme is C minor but it moves to F minor in presto section ......

is it the right-hand crossing over? Yes ofcourse ;)

i would be proud if u can perform this piece! worst performances BUT BY HAND is better than best performances BY COMPUTER!!!!

I just want to say that I think that Amir's piece should have got more comments than just the one by me... this piece is a great effort IMO people - have a listen and I'm sure you will agree, and if you don't agree post anyhow because I would be interested to see where you can find faults in it!

I have just listened to it. It has that dramatic but beautiful Beethoven feel :D

Woooow, just got the allegro section. Would make a great concert piece. How do you think of so many notes hehe

Unlike so many pieces on here, it would so good I actually listened to all of it!

Some notes at 5:06/5:07 sounded a bit dodgy :D

The chords in the last minute or so sounded great but I think maybe it went on for a bit too long. A few more bars of fast runs at the end would sound even better :D

My view is purely from a listening/audience view, I have no idea about any technical requirements :D

excellent piece

I really like the fast bits - very dramatic

Great piece :) I don't think it sounded like copy-cat Beethoven at all. Really original actually. Anyway, just thought I would let you know I enjoyed listening to it (I'm not so great with technical commentary), good work

tnx dears 4 encouraging commentary :x

Whoo! This is pretty dramatic. It's a very good piece, but I know nothing about this type of music. Even so you held my attention without any difficulty at all lol. You will attract far more comments if you post a score in .pdf format.

dear terve how could i convert score to a pdf file ?

As far as I can remember you just need to tell it to print the score, and choose a .pdf writer in the printers list. If you don't have one you can download them free: CuteWriter is the one I use. If you still can't work it out, there's a thread somewhere in the technical forum about it.

i know something about cutewriter but i dont know how can i get standard score from a midi file ! product of existing softwares is abit strange ..... i dont know ..... but i'll try to do that ! tnx again ;)

You can't write a score from a midi file. Presumably you have a score of this piece on some notation software? Open this, select print, in the printers drop-down box select the .pdf writer, and click print.
