I've been meaning to give another large-scale work a shot just to see how well I handle form (don't think I did it too well in this piece).

Go easy on yourself. You're young and you're learning. Your concepts are wonderfully sound. As I sometimes say, there is nothing wrong with what you're doing that a little more experience won't fix, and if I remember rightly you have a composition teacher to help you with some of the finer details. Your ideas and spirit are what make this special. Have courage and keep it up!

I think this is absolutely gorgeous. IHMO, I think you should clean up the score and finish it up, as it is very good. My only complaint (and its very small) is that it is a bit repetitive, however, that is not necessarily a bad thing and you develop your ideas very nicely, so I'm not sure I would change it. Anyway, fantastic work, thanks for posting!

Oh, then you're going to need a lot of work. I'm far from perfect and it's taken me almost 12 years to get where I got. So good luck and try hard.
