February 23, 200818 yr detroit what! detroit what! it sounds good, but i kind of outgrew punk music, thus it doesn't really catch my attention (it's a bit simple). the mixes all sound good though, i like how you used an acoustic guitar aswell, this really adds to the overall sound. also, it feels to me you guys haven't really captured an own style yet (you go from old-school greenday to slickshoes, from dropkick murphys to some bluesy/country-rock sound). the overall song structures are a bit too simple for my tasting, but then again, it works very well for this type of music. i think the singer has great articulation and timbre, especially in the seventh song on your website, 'some people' (which i think is your best and most 'real' song). i also like the fact you have a female bandmember (not to be a sexist or pig or whatever), this adds to the overall image (which, unfortunatly is very important these days). i also have a female bass player in my band :). heart catching lyrics, what's that? i know i really put my soul in my lyrics to make them very personal, but most of these lyrics seem, well, kind of inpersonal and maybe even random at some points; the metaphores don't really come across sometimes. i think i like some people and open water the best. keep it up, most of your songs rock, you guys could really make this work. also, when you're making a weblink with images, be sure to add border="0" to your img tag, the way it looks now is horrible. btw, imo, cowbells are a big no-no :).
February 26, 200818 yr Hmm, let's see, what's the word I'm thinking of. "Cute" i suppose, didn't see much depth into it. Has a pop punky feel for sure, like blink 182 or simple plan or green day. My favorite part was the Stray Cats shirt.
February 27, 200818 yr I really liked it a lot. It sounded a lot like Green Day, but you guys definitely have a good style and sound. I agree, though, kudos on the acoustic guitar.
