Different Sibelius Startup Sound

I find after a while, I get bored of the default sound.

You can change it on a mac if you right-click Sibelius, Show Package Contents, Contents then Components, and Resources.

Just replace "Startup Sound.wav" with your own WAV file of the same name.

I'm curious to see who else has done this, and what they have replaced it with. I have Sib 5, and for a while I changed it to the Sib 2 sound, but now I've got it as the opening 15 secs of the Einojuhani Rautavaara Harp Concerto.

If you use Audacity (free for both mac and win) you can cut out 12-15 secs of a music file, and add a fade out etc.

Blech. I hate opening sounds. They're too imposing.

Haha, I've done that too. My current startup music is the theme from the last movement of Beethoven 5. Very loud. It scares the crap out of people :D

I had it as the Benny Hill theme at one stage. That was surreal.

the sib 5 sound GRATES after a while
