Waltz in F major

Featured Replies

Here's my second piano waltz. One of my more sentimental pieces, I'd have to say. :P Comments and/or suggestions are welcomed.

Piano Waltz #2.mid

I really loved it. I just wish you had a PDF posted so I could see what was going on.

I must say! Quite Wonderful! The harmonies were all quite appropriate and interesting! Wow! I must say that it is some of the better music on this forum. Yes, I too would like to see a score. From what I can hear, it sounds playable, and the harmonies are quite pleasing.

My ONLY complaint: I would have preferred those 9th's (I don't know exactly) or minor 2nds to be expanded. It is a little ... too dissonant to have them right next to each other.

Other than that, quite beautiful!

That's very interesting! Nice harmonies too!

Congrats

i really like this piece,it would be great played by harp

I loved it, it sort of sounded a little like Brahms to me. Quite pleasing, sentimental as you say. I could see this being played in like a piano bar or something where people can just relax to some good music.

Thank you for posting it :)

This is so very pretty! I love the arpeggiated harmonies at the beginning, very beautiful. I agree with you that it's sentimental, but in an awesome way. I'd love to hear a live recording of this. The clashing sounds (minor 2nds?) are interesting, and grabs on to my ears effectively. 1:23 to 1:28 is a very good transition, IMO. Nice work!

i love it! will you please please please post a score?

*gets all excited*

or at least list the chords you used?

What a beautiful, fun, engaging piece. The harmony may be a bit repetitive and the ending falls a little flat. Nonetheless, a wonderful piece of music to listen to.

how come the score is still not posted. :( i really want to see it.

I'll have to echo everyone's sentiments here and say that it indeed is very pretty and I do get a sentimental feeling to it. Unfortunately, I also have to repeat what everyone else has said and say that not a whole lot of constructive criticism is possible without a score in hand. Anyway, nice piece. Hope to hear more from you.

Is Celloman still around or did he change his screenname? Just want to say this is my favorite piece here.

This is very nice, it would make chopin cry :)

Really Beautiful... I'm starting to be really ashamed of my own waltzes... And -- again: WHERE'S THE SCORE?? Beautiful pieces call for people who want to see the sheet music! Why do you torture us???

I'm not so sure it would make Chopin cry, though, SimenN.
