Oh, that.

Well. Chopin was supposed to merge the forum with this forum, but he changed his mind. Besides, there wasn't as much interest in the theme as I migth have hoped.

Here is a little business pep talk...

As a businessman, you will learn that alot of ideas fail and will be rejected in life, and you have to be stable enough to accept failure and rejection, and figure out how to turn that failure into an opportunity. You don't realize how many things I have tried with YC and FAILED with a passion! I could make a list if you want just for cracks. But there are things that do work, and you just have to find what works by...uh...failing. You can't give up though, otherwise nothing will ever get done. My video game forum at Record Hall is ummmm...darn...failing, ah another failure to worry about! The "best" solution to deal with that failure is by moving it over to YC. Another solution is to just scrap it, but I know it will do well over here at YC. However, with this failure, I did learn something, which would be the opportunity. And that something is, no matter what the topic is, as long as it has to do with music, no one wants to leave YC because there is too much emotional attachment here, and they prefer YC to deal with all of their musical needs. This is actually valuable information that came from, guess what.......FAILING!

We could try the history forum here as well, but I don't know...it probably will, drats........FAIL...

Well if you do, I'd be glad to support it/mod it - I have studied music history formally in university for 4 years and have had a passion in the lives of the greats for much longer than that. I'd like to see it, but as a future MBA student and current business owner, I understand where your business logic is coming from chopin.

Well, we could try it. If we do though, the whole history "forum" will be under a subforum. This way we don't crowd the main site. So, if we have some willing people who will look after this, I have no problem trying it out.

And the video game forum, I will just add another cateogry under "upload your compositions for analysis and feedback". It will be for video games and movies. What I may do is merge experimental and jazz, this way there is not an extra category.

I am moving this topic under "announcements".
