Featured Replies

Ok, Im still young (16) so plz be gentle to me.

This is a Soundtrack inspired by Danny Elfman.

Oh, and i made this song in Gp5.

! ! ! ! ! ! !

Energy lots of energy !

Dooo do do dee DEE DEE DEE

!!!!!

Sounds very nice, this tune is stuck in my head now xD

Willy wonkey just keeps coming to my head from this.

Not one moment of this piece did I lose my attention.

For a film music, from what I've heard, the melody needs to be able to catch the listeners attention easily and be easily remembered... or something along those lines >.>

This melody indeed does that :D

I really like this, bookmarking this piece into favorites section.

Thx alot Nathaniel!

Simply brilliant! I love all of those quick and catchy chords with the perfect use of percussion.. Ah, 5/5. =]

Hey, Thanks alot, v!olaplayer! =)

Yeah this is definitely influenced by Elfman. Don't take that as too high a compliment though, if you want to know if I liked it... never was a fan of his stuff.

Really nice accents.

I'd want that piano riff to be more chordal, instead of going to that line.

I'd worry about this as film music except as a chase scene or something with little talking because there isn't enough atmosphere (but that's also a bit of the Elfman coming through I think)

Nice work though, don't be discouraged by my negativity, it's a good piece, just not my style.

okay, thx for some critics.

But why do u want the piano riff to be more chordal? it would be a total mess according to me.

And It is more thought of as a soundtrack not made for a specific scene. Maybe should change that in title.

and I am a huge fan of Elfmans work =)

I just mean instead of chord-chord-melodic twist, imply that twist through the same chord style... it might be more boring, but more like some of Thelonious Monk's kind of comping...

Ah! ok, misunderstood you. yeah, it would be boring.

When the smal percussion came in, it was literally screaming Danny Elfman. I agree with the others that is very Elfman-y, I can hear Edward Scissorhands and Nightmare Before Christmas /Corpse Bride in there. It's really good considering you've just started. Keep on composing!
