For some reason, I can't hear my pieces very well., the volume is SUPER soft (for the GPO, Etc.) the midi instruments are good. My speakers are as loud as they go, so when I make a recording, it plays soft also.

why can I only make WAV Files with GPO. but WAV and MP3 with midi instruments?

They changed alot of this around, it really annoys me that i can't make an MP3 directly of GPO files. but you can always make a wav and use a 3rd party application to convert wav to mp3 thats not SUCH a big deal just a nuisance.

I'm not entirely sure why GPO sounds so bad however I think you actually have to load the instruments into the player.

unless you're doing something for production level, there should really be no need for GPO, and even then you should be using a .wav, the softsynth sounds sound absolutely fine for auditioning your work

You have *never* been able to make an mp3 file directly from GPO, you have *always* had to convert it from a .wav file. You can, however, make mp3's directly if you use SoftSynth.

You can get free software online to convert .wavs to .mp3 files. I use CDEX.

Open the mixer in Finale and increase the volume slider.

Also you can open the Kontakt2 console and click on OUTPUT so you will see the mixer of the sampler. Then you can slide up the volume.

I had the same problem and done this many times but when I taked the file and opened in my teacher
