Gothic Requiem

Featured Replies

I DID NOT WRITE THE WORDS TO THIS PIECE!

The original poem was written in response to 9/11 and I thought it was so beautiful that it would make a nice SATB a Capella piece. This piece hasn't been read yet, however I am anxiously awaiting an opportunity to do so.

I know it's short however a live performance would have more pauses by the conductor and longer breaks between phrases. I tried to stretch this poem as far as I could however it was just so beautiful and perfect, I didn't want to change it.

I appreciate any comments/tips/criticism/questions etc.

Thanks for Listening

Jeff

Uh, pdf and midi please? :(

Very nice job. On m. 33, I would have gone from the unison C, to a more dramatic chord.

Oops! my bad about the PDF and midi. I have uploaded a PDF but I also tried to upload the midi a few times but I am having troubles for some reasons. In the mean time, you can hear the playback here; myspace.com/jeffreychambersmusic.

Very good point on the Chord at M. 33. I will definitely consider that. Thank You
