Here it is! :w00t:

It's awfully short, but I liked what you did with it! It was fun and light and playful, which I fully expected from you. Since it's really short... I didn't really hear much wrong things in it. But, you could easily expand it! Your last chord is a tonic (I), but you could easily use a deceptive cadence from V to .. hmm.. let's say Vdim7.. And then you can go to II and continue on in the new key! It has a lot of potential. Just take little segments of the melodies that you have and change them and repeat them. That's called development and it always works!

Good luck :)

Very fun and playful!

I agree with what Maelstrom said though...you can easily make that last cadence into a deceptive one. Also....once you've developed it a bit, and added another section or two, perhaps consider writing a coda where the piano has some runs or something.

Also...maybe write a section that doesn't have the continuous bass line, for instance at about 12 seconds into the piece, the right hand has some runs and the bass has blocked chords, what if you were to add some arpeggios or runs in the bass as well using contrary motion of course. But yea,

Such fun! I liked this - I agree with Mael on ways you could expand the piece a little bit. Another thing you could try is developing a small "trio" section , followed by a full recap - it would just be *too* perfect - a slight lyrical constrast, and then a return. Otherwise, I love what you've done - just would have liked to hear more of it! :)

Thanks for sharing this :)

weeeeeeeeeeee!

I thought everyone would viciously attack my 15 seconds of polka, but thank you all for the suggestions! :w00t:

I'm not sure if polkas usually have trios but i suppose you can stick a trio on to anything these days :P

You must have seen the episode where Oswald and Weenie

spend the night over at Henry's apartment.

And on Saturday's in the evening Henry indulges himself with the Penguin Polka...
