Introduction & Variations in E minor

Hi,

I'm new to the forum. Here's a sample of my composition for Strings (a set of variations on a Mazurka in E minor for String Orchestra).

The sample is Variation III.

I would be very interested to know what people think as although I have written much music for Classical Guitar, this is my first attempt at this kind of thing. (In fact it's based on a Mazurka I wrote for Guitar).

My opinion probably doesn't mean much since I'm brand new to this as well. But I liked it! I've been studying Piano and Violin for 7+ years but am just getting into composition. Variation III was my favorite but I liked the Theme as well. I had a hard time getting through Variation II and Variation IV didn't make much sense to me. Do you have a score for it? Particularly Variation III? Nice work for your first attempt and keep going!
