TWINKLE (FIXED)

Ok buddies. This is a piece that I wrote for the Nursery competition anno.

This was the winner piece (there were only two contestants lol)

I've uploaded this but you couldnt hear it right. I fixed the problem.

There are a few spots in the mix that are too hot which is causing some crackles, but other than that, it is still well done.

This is very good. I would be interested to see how good of an arranger you are. You might want to try and taking some melodies in free domain and just going with them. Just a thought.

great beginning! very exciting...sounds a lot like an orchestra warming up before a concert.

there is parts that sound like a disney march.

in the middle, weird transitions.....|: dark->starwars->disney :|

overall, great on some points, others...well they need work. Ending, hold out the last note.

I'll listen again later and give you better explanations.

Norby i've always loved this piece, it has to be one of my favorite twinkle twinkle little star's i've ever heard :P

when my dad heard this, he did make a good point and then I realized what it was. The way you have this piece structured (to me) sounds like all the different types of music. One part is like an overture, another is like a sonata, etc. That is what I love about it.

Please Omar tell me where are the weak points of the piece in your opinion. It's always good to hear smart critics of your piece. I have to admit that I like this piece too and enjoyed writing it a lot, but there's a fault: I used too much unison parts, I didn't use 4horns, 2 oboas ...you know it. If you have any other ideas what other faults are in the piece I would be interested to hear :D

That's the best twinkle I have ever heard before!!

Great Norby, I feel that my words are not exagerated at all when I listen to this sophisticated version of a melody that otherwise never has given me the thrills, LOL! :cool:

hehehe, this was certainly a romp...

it wasn't so much "twinkle" as it was "FLASH.. oh my god! my eyes! my eyes!!"

I wouldn't mind seeing the score to make a few more comments (something about the timpani part sort of bothered me).

Thanks for your comment QcCowboy. I really want to show all of you the score but it's a mess so I won't. As I mentioned in the private message I sent you from now on I focus on reality on my scores. I promise that I will show my scores in the future. Anyway it was a funny comment I like it. Flash lol :)
