Maximilian Caldwell
The shoutbox can only be read bottom-to-top, that is, with the newest message continually appearing at the top, and working their way down. To get a coherent idea of the conversation, thus, one must read it, as stated, from the bottom to the top. This is the opposite of AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, and Facebook messenger, and I find the entire business horridly disorienting. Mike--and I'm speaking directly to you, now--I cannot emphasize how incredibly grateful I would be if you managed to add a feature that allows a user to select what direction he would like the shoutbox posts to flow. I give my sincerest thanks en avance.
Flint
You could just use the Chat function instead; it works that way.

Mike
I tried turning it upside down like you described in order to more accurately emulate what should be expected of a chat interface, but people complained about the change and asked that it be reverted. It would be possible to add a per-user option for this...though not instantaneously.
Tokkemon
Sapphy-Maxy, you are more than welcome to leave if its such a problem for you. Alternatively, I suggest you hang upside down from the ceiling and read it the "right" way. Not that you need your head inflated anymore by more blood rushing to your brain. Maximilian Caldwell
Would taking the time to add such a feature be a great inconvenience to you, and if not, do you think it would be worth the time?
Mike
I might have time at some stage. Will see how it pans out.
