Lois's Beautiful Garden

Featured Replies

This is a piece I wrote on the guitar a few years ago, but it's one of the favorite things I've written. It's just an alternating theme piece (I think) of ABABA. Some day I'd like to make another section so it doesn't sound so repetitive.

The sheet music. I have no idea if this is "the right way" to do it, or if I should just use a lead sheet with chord symbols.

I don't understand it quite as piano music... anyhow. Nice!

that sounded really good, it was simple to play and fun to listen to.

The simplicity of this piece attracts me. Simplicity in form, and melody and texture. And the repetition bit of it, it's kind of thinking about something, then you wander around, but then you always go back to that first thought (A). Hmm, I like.

Out of all the sections, I like A the most. Something with the rhythm of the melody there is very attractive. And it's good you repeat it enough, and not too many times.

Well, great =D
