In Memory (Valence-Trauma-Forgotten-Rejoice!)

Featured Replies

My first full composition

In Memory, dedicated to the mystery and magic of human memory.

Valence is the emotion tagged in memory, trauma is negative memories, forgotten is lost memories (or memories that want to be forgotten) and rejoice!, is about happy memories.

Enjoy!

I'm sorry, can't open sib. files, would you like to post .pdf with a midi or mp3? You'll get more comments then.

CutePDF (creating pdf's isn't that difficult ;))

Please do post a link to a mp3. A site like boxnet will host mp3's for free and then you provide a link to your piece.

Welcome to YC

I have listened to this a few times now and am pretty impressed for this being done by a 15 year old.

One of the best things about composing, is that the more you do, the better you will get.

I see that you aere commenting on other's works. That is the best way to get people to return the favor and comment on your works.

Keep at it.

Very nice. There are many high points in this piece, and they come out really nicelly. Just a few thinks to maybe work on a bit: The transition into the first faster section could be improved a bit. I actually thought the song was over, and then it picked back up again. The transition back into the slow section was much more fluid. Very nice overall use of the chimes. There were many point at which the piece felt as if it was reaching it's end, and then another section would start up. This made the piece feel longer than it was. I'm not sure what you exactly want to do about that, but it's just a thought. Very nice overall!
