Heya Kevin. Really beautiful, I especially love the clarinet part. It's a really smooth sound, very pleasant to hear. Very simple melody, but very pretty indeed, I could really feel what you described.

I've just realised I've had this on in the background looping for twenty minutes. It's very relaxing to have on as ambience as you're doing other things. It could have perhaps used some strings or a flute... definitely a 3rd instrument. It feels just a bit too long with the piano and clarinet as well when you consider there isn't much change in terms of the tempo or style.

It's very very lovely. To me it sounds like someone should be singing it rather than a clarinet playing it.

@ - Fox. I'm not sure what I would of done, but it was actually one of my friend last night who asked me to write it last night (GMT +8). She basically mentioned the word dream and give me the instrumentation Piano and Clarinet. But I can definitely see where you're coming from ^^.

Is the clarinet from GPO? Which version? I have GPO 2, and while the woodwinds are nice it's really difficult to make the rest "sing". I was considering upgrading to the new version but I'm not convinced yet that there is much of a difference between the two.

Good piece. I had it looping while writing something to an old friend then I suddenly realized that if I were being filmed this is exactly what would be playing in the background.

Definitely pretty. I like that brief moment where piano doubles the clarinet an octave above, around 1:46 and 5:11. (If the overall form is something like A-B-A, I guess that's about 2/3rds of the way through either of the A sections).

Dream ~ Memories of Loved Ones - The title is very good for this music. It's is calming and really not bad! I just don't like some notes in this piece, but it's my own problem!
