Something that i did this year that took FOREVER to get the repeating string notes to sound like they do. It isnt easy. The "machine-gun effect" as it is so appropriately used, is what it used to sound like until I worked on fixing that.

It took a long time.

hope you like it. :)

mars music every where

This is a spectacular title.

I like the rhythmic variety in what is otherwise a dedicatedly Classical piece. I noticed some more-or-less blatant homages to famous classical pieces, but what stood out most was your adherence to a very traditional orchestration scheme. I would have liked to hear some more tempo variety, but the development is quite solid otherwise.

To be honest, I was expecting something musically "cleverer" given the title, but what you have here is a very nice example of pastiche and a good demonstration of your orchestrational abilities. There is, as far as I'm concerned, lots of room left to develop it creatively if you choose to go back an rework it.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Marius, I appreciate your comments.

This was the first thing I have ever done with only string instruments so i admit it is faulty in many parts, but I appreciate your comments regardless. :)

Is it just me, or is this sort of like a spinning song, made fancy? Anyhow, I like it bunches, very nice work yet again! =D

I hear some parts of? Mozart?...yeah. If you upload your score next time, then I would be able to comment more. It's very enjoyable.
