YouTube - Black Dyke Mills Band - Blitz - 01 - Blitz (part 1/2) One of the all time great brass pieces, by Derek Bourgeois. Fabulous piece. Epic win. Skip to 1 minute in to get to the start. Conductor looks strangely like Schoenberg. YouTube - Soundings by John Williams - World Premiere Brilliant concert piece by Williams; one of his best. YouTube - David Rouault - Gregson Trumpet Concerto 1st movement I REALLY dig this trumpet concerto. All 3 movements are great. Gorgeous. I find a lot of his writing very sensitive & tasteful. YouTube - STRAVINSKY : Rite Of Spring - V.Gergiev (1/3) Can't leave out Le Sacre. Good version too. Epic brass. Some of these have been 21st century, but I'm not too worried.
