Wow, I really liked this. Made me nostalgiac for those old school video games from the early 90s. You ought to put this to a video and post it for us. Would love to see how you choreograph the music to the animation.

I'm not diggin' the flute, might take it out not sure yet though.. the loop with the electric bass and the bass drum parts are pretty neat. The flute melody is decent enough but I'm gonna make this good don't worry haha, probably tomorrow night.

Plus if it were going to be a mini-game track, it would have to be a lot smoother and flute/bassoon dialogue too early isn't smooth enough for my taste, so that part is going to have to go.

I also like the broken military style snare or whatever it is, I had a sketch of Shoppe Del'Ammoure before this one with that kind of drumming but it was a minor key and that made all the difference haha. Snares in minor sound like a death march PERIOD >.>

Listening back to the minor version it could definitely be a second movement or something, it's better 'denithout.

First off welcome to YC.

This is a nice little tune with a very simple melody that is pleasant to listen to. I would have liked the right ear to be a bit louder in the mix, but that is an easy fix.

Although we are still in the beta stage here at the new and improved YC, those of us here in the Games forum have always tried to go out of our way to critique each others music. So I will ask you to join in as much as possible. Many of our members will return the favor.

I'm not sure if it is just me, but when I clicked play it said "File Not Found" .. ?

It isn't just you. I just went to listen to this work and the player just showed "file not found." The user could have chosen to remove the file.

I'll look into it with admins here and see what happened.

Interesting little ditty: I like the little rhythms, and the simple melody :) It's a little sparse, but it shows promise with a view to something that's a bit more...substantial. I can totally dig simple and to the point, but this feels a little underwhelming as it is. Maybe you can develop the ideas further by adding some more instruments to it? It seems like it wants to be more colorful! :happy:
