Nice job. But I think there is too many clusters. Anyway I love this piece. -Minoxor.

i love to see the score too

Hey There,

This sounds pretty nice! Keep on going :)

Some critique: the piano melody is nice, and I dont know what emotion you want to evoke, but I think keeping the melody to the woodwind would be better, I think the oboe/english horn or the clarinet would be a smart choice. The Strings do really feel/sound like the LOTR soundtrack, I dont know if this was your intention? The pauses in between did the job I guess. Very good work with the dynamics! I am listening with bad boxes now, but I think you should add choires at a soft dynamic in the middle with the strings.

Now the more aggressive third part of your piece really sounds like harry gregson williams with narnia in the battle. You should maybe try looking at that score and get inspired extra by it, I think that part deserves some extra orchestrating, some extra lines in some instruments, since it can be more overwhelming, tbh.

Now the sound effects, I am not very used to using effects, so I guess that was pretty awesome, cant say too much about it.

Again, good job!

I hope it would be possible for you to listen to and comment on my latest piece, there is a link in my signature.

Kind regards,

Hugo

Brilliant!!

The start was great witih the exquisite strings coming through. The piano may be appropriate or not depending on the situation. Nice transition into the action sequence. However, at 1:48, it sounded a little 'blocky' maybe more counterpoint and little extras would have helped.

Anyway, apart from that, good work, and look forward to more!! :)
