Sonata for Violoncello and Piano Nº1 (I. Adagio)

I love the poignancy and the emotions this piece conveys. Your accompaniment material is very lively. I'd love to see a score of this to better review the work. Any chances you can post one for me?

Sounds very sad. Did you record it at the studio or something?

This is very rich in emotion, like Woodruff said: it sounds like a mixture of hope, sadness, determination, resignation even...it all sort of blends perfectly, and it's very dramatic, yet mature! I'm suitably impressed!

This is going under my favorites list! Nice job! Thanks for posting :)

Thanks for the praise!

jawoodruff, I'm working in the score. It is still a little disorganized. Soon I will be posting it.

Lavr, this record was made with the EWQLSO Gold Pro XP. I'm working in this too. Now I'm programming the cello part in Cubase with the Garritan Gofrille Cello.

I love the usage of the cello in it upper resigter!!!! Many composers might keep the cello on its lower strings, but you were not affraid! Much praise to that! I love have this peice has alot of emotion!!! I love your use of relative major and minor keys!!! Keep up the good work!

sounds great man!,,,very tender. without a score my critique will be limited, but nice job! you know how to evoke weeping from small leaps in the higher register. accompaniment fits well. samples sound great btw.
