You have to write a solo piece: any lenght, any instrument, any theme; and you have to record as you play it. Its that easy. Then you provide a: - Score in PDF (readable!!) - And an Mp3 (as you play your own piece on the instrument you choose.) - It would be great if you would have a video recording also, but its optional.* SEND THE SCORES/PIECES TO: mnorbi@t-online.hu Prize: You can give me ideas... I decided the deadline only today so you can join. :) Maybe you think that its late to join because of the deadline, but dudes I cant believe that you cant write a solo piece in two weeks. Its impossible. If you have to write a piece for full orchestra I would give a month or two, but its a solo piece competition. Not that hard. Not late to join to everybody. CheeseLord: Yes it has to be absolutely live! You have to perform it 100%. Write such a piece that you can permorf, it dont have to be virtuoso stuff (of course it would be better). But in the accompaniment of course you can use samples or other things. In the sample I provided I'm tapping on the table, I didnt use any drum sample, so as an accompaniment you can use such stuff. But the solo is has to be continuous if you understand, means the accompaniment here is to make a kind of ambient to your playing it cant replace it or stop it. --- And wow! We are now 7.
