18 Year-Old Film Composer Isaias Garcia's 10th ADAPTATION soundtrack for the Deathly Hallows.The introduction represents Snape's death... the music here is very operatic and tragic, kind of what I expect Part 2 of the film to be. As Harry retrieves this vital memory from Snape he heads off to Dumbledore's office, knowing that his life will have to end, we also hear a brief motif of Lily's Theme with the flute before the 2nd movement.The 2nd movement I respectfully named "Snape and Lily's Love Theme". The main melody repeats itself, starting with the flute (representing Snape as a boy) and gradually adding more instruments as Snape's relationship with Lily grows over time. Each section of this particular movement could, if you'd like, represent each of Snape's memory which Harry is witnessing to. The final build up and climax of this movement helps us understand the suffering and danger Snape has been known to be involved in, beginning with Lily's death.The final part of the composition goes back to Harry's character, as we discover that Snape loved Lily very dearly and, perhaps, even cared for her son Harry. Hi Isaias,

This is another excellent track, one which I thought was a bit less generic than the grand adventure and a bit more skillfully produced. You clearly have an attachment to the source material and the story itself, and it comes through. There's a level of emotional depth to the writing that shines through, which is an excellent trait for a film composer to have in his music.

As you continue working on your skills, I think your biggest focus should be on more realistic mock-ups and on getting actual work — you're 18, so you should already be scoring small films and game projects. It's all well and good that you can write nice music under no constraints except the ones you impose upon yourself, but working in the industry is a different animal....tight deadlines, strict guidelines, and writing to a picture you may not really feel attached to. That's the kind of thing you need to gain experience in, as well as a much more varied scope of styles that you can write in, otherwise you simply won't be a very attractive prospect for a director.

Great work on this track though, I really enjoyed listening to it.

Anyway, this is brilliant. I thought that someone like John Williams had composed this. Beautiful music (I'm sure I get a sniff of Across the Stars), one of the best love pieces ever made IMHO, so wow, this rates high in my directory!! THere is really nothing worth nitpicking on, beautifully orchestrated and a awesome mockup.
