A Piano Piece

Some piano piece I've recently writen, I think it still needs a little work on the opening and a few other tweeks here and there. Please give me your thoughts. Can someone categorize this music of mine correctly. I'm not sure what genre, subgenre, form etc it follows. If someone could do that for me It would be great. :)

I liked it, at times it seemed a little repetitive but nothing worth changing, I would probably categorize this as contemporary like you have listed. If you review others pieces, you have a greater chance of getting comments on your own. Welcome to YC.

I really like this. It's simple and rustic. The theme itself would lend itself well to more in depth development - but I don't think that this piece is really in need of serious revision. Would be nice to hear this with a real pianist performing.

I too am not sure exactly what genre this belongs in: but it reminds me of a sort of subdued, yet grandiose folk tune, kind of like that song they play at New Year (never can remember its name). This is very nice: simple, yet with cool articulations that keep it from being simplistic.
