Along with the ornate English gothic music of the late 15th century this is another period I love - the 14th century compositions called Ars Subtilior.

The poster, micrologis posts great music from the Rennaissance and Medieval periods with brief informative comments.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't heard of the composer, but the piece is beautiful. I'd do some unsavory things to get my hands on a facsimile of the Chantilly Codex. Or I could just buy one from here:

Voce - I didn't even post the best piece on that album. Couldn't find it at you tube. En nul estat I believe is the vocal piece. Check out the two masses by Thomas Ashewell (English gothic) if you like this.
