A kind of, well, dreamy piece my older brother made when he first started composing (he started about 5 days ago or so). It's a miniature piece.

Well, it's a cute idea.

However, you would need 3 violas and 3 cellos to play this. Triple stops are almost impossible to play in the first place, much less for that length of time.

For his first composition, or one of his first, (if his output is like yours, this could have been his 10th piece or so if he started composing 10 days ago) it is actually quite good. Obvious places for improvement are to break up some of the repetitiveness and score the instruments correctly. Besides this, it is a fine idea.

I'm glad you think so :) He knows there's room for improvement, but he's already rapidly growing in skill, I believe.

Haha, and yes, he just started about five-ish days ago, and he's already written about 5 pieces: I've uploaded them across all the forums (and I think some of them are really very good!) Feel free to check them out if you wish ;)

This is a cute piece. I like it. Somehow, I like the cello with Fnatural instead of F# on the phrase on bar 3 (and its repetition). But other than that, wow, just started 5 days ago and already written so many. He should get his own username and get him to come here ^_^
