Streets of Venice pt. 1 - Lazy Afternoon

Featured Replies

Something I was working on for a short game...I couldn't find any real Venetian music for inspiration, so I just went at it with a VST accordion >_>It needs work...even though the first part is supposed to be relaxed and calm, it feels like it's missing something...

Streets of Venice pt. 1 - Lazy Afternoon

I like it! It has a very energetic celtic feel to it, and I can imagine bustling streets of venice. At times, it reminded me of Mitsuda's soundtrack, if you're not familiar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8_eAiO3kIE Maybe this will inspire you.

You should look into the Assassin's Creed 2 soundtrack, those tracks have Renaissance styled themes in theme, or just look up Renaissance music in general, as alot of 'Venetian' music was popular during that time period. good track though!

hiya malexos, some nice changes going on in your piece, the vibe of laziness is there :) not in the way you made the piece, there are some sloppy dissonances with the guitar, but i'm sure its because its a rush composition. keep it up, i like that style :)

p.s.

the way this forum and its people get motivation if we help each other by listening and responding to pieces we like, or dislike-please make yourself at home!
