Opening Theme - Riley Is Born Again

This is the second theme of the score I'm composing as fanmade stuff to the movie Twilight Saga: Eclipse."Opening/Riley Is Born Again" is a piece of music composed for the opening sequenced as presented in the leaked "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" script, and foreshadowed by the final trailer of the movie. Neat track. Nice dark tone. Are the images in the music video the opening sequenced you mentioned in your description?

Also, what programs did you use to compose this?

Last quick thing, from 0:55-1:06, can you turn up the low brass? I can barely hear them right now and they'd really help contribute to the dark tone your after.

hey , nice one , what did use to compose it ? it has a dark tone , but i think you should increase the bass sounds in it , or it may just be the equalizer . the bass sounds doesnt really sound realistic , if you change the contrabass line maybe it would sound better , and if you add a contrabassoon , it would increase the dark feeling in it . thats what i think :) . anyway good job!

I think there is some clipping happening near the end of the piece. Neat track, although in my opinion strings sound a bit too synthy. What samples did you use? Also as John and Zibdeh mentioned a piece like this could really benefit from a more deep and resonant bass. Just find a really rich airy synth. It should do the job.

Yes, the video is made by the stills of the opening sequence of the movie.

When you ask me what programs did I use to compose this, I don't fully understand...

Well, I didn't write down the notes in a score, I prefer to organize melodies in my head.

I recorded each instrument with my Yamaha keybord and then used the program Audacity to clean the audio as much as I could and put the various instruments together and synchronized.

I acknowledged your suggestions, and I will made a few changes on this composition sometime.

Sorry, I'm kind of newbie to this, so... what does mean "clipping" ? =)

Well i used a Yamaha keybord wich as really crappy strings...

I actually tried to made something that could be at the same time dark and ethereal, not just traditionally dark, but I will try to increase the bass sound when i make a proper revision to this..
