Untitled accordion piece

not sure what to call this one. I was fooling around in Sibelius and decided to make a song for the accordion.

Untitled accordion piece

Hey Redajin!

Glad you switched up the chords when the melody came in.

I think the third repeat of your main theme around 0:45 should be different. Another section would be nicer there. Same comment for 2:45.

It's pretty solid but I don't think it's engaging enough. Your has the track has the potential of being a beautiful lament, but you need to infuse a bit more emotion into it. For starters, add some dynamics to spice it up.

Experiment with the tempo and see if speeding it up slightly helps. The main theme feels like it drags. When you bring it back 'round 2:30ish, we don't feel super excited because it wasn't super engaging at the beginning.

You created a really solid foundation for improving your track. You have the form sorted out (although like my second comment, don't repeat the main theme so many times). Plus, you have lotsa of material to work with. Polish up your piece and you'll have hopeless romantics bawling there eyes out.

Peace on Earth,

-John
