Fountain of Youth

Featured Replies

This was a piece that started out as a pianistic sketch I basically just winged (which is a rare thing for me: I usually plan everything in my head mentally before writing anything down ^_^), and then decided to orchestrate. I use some natural ambiance to add to the feeling I'm trying to convey: relaxation and invigoration.Technically speaking for a moment, it's basically 3 variations on a single theme. I hope you enjoy it =)

I liked this one; it isn't too long, and the nice little chord progression you set up was groovy enough to keep my interested. It reminds me of Avro Part, even though it's not too technically reminiscent of his music. Nice work :Phones:

I like it too, but somehow I get feeling it can be brought to ever higher plane and thus be much more thrilling while keeping up to the point.

LOVE IT!! Especially the chirps and the water rushing in the background, it made this piece really authentic.

Not much I can say other than I think you hit your main idea right on the nose, man.

Bumped! I just uploaded a particularly nasty piece for a bad music competition, and I don't want to upload on that note

Mm. I liked it quite a bit, but I was waiting the whole time for chord number 2 in the progression to go down just once.

Peter:

That's a possible idea if I go back and choose to change some things in this piece :hmmm: Thank you very much, Peter! :)
