July 4, 201015 yr These could be in the same topic, using the "movement owner" function. Both of them are way too short, I think there's enough in these ideas to develop them for several minutes at the least, and potentially (depending on your preferences), into much longer minimalist-type pieces. You should also upload scores, as most people, especially on this site (myself included), are completely deaf, and can gain no knowledge from the sounds alone.
July 4, 201015 yr Author Yes, you are right that is too short. It was maked for some competition in which was envisaged that pupils play it...I'll tray to upload scores and put bouth composition in movement owner. Thanks a lot for suggestion!
July 5, 201015 yr Author Now I'm thinking something abaut short music....Once upon a time one of mine professor sead that peoples usually have active concetration too listining you just two minutes...and what I have in this composition is a lot of dissonances and empty chords, so maube it will be more effective if its stay short, like some kind of answer and replay. Don' t get me wrong I like ,for example, music like P.Glass is composing, minimalist, meditation music, but in case of this composition maube its affect bad on listeners and performers....Or I'm wrong?
July 5, 201015 yr I disagree with your professor. Different people can listen to music actively for different amounts of time. I've met people can't or don't want to listen to music actively, but most people I know who enjoy "classical" music can actively listen for at least 5 minutes, but usually longer. You can do whatever you want with your piece though, I just gave my suggestions.
July 5, 201015 yr Author Yes, I know and thank you a lot for suggestion. I appreciate it because, as I can see throw yours compositions your are open minded pearson who looks for own musical languge. Each discussion is good, otherwise we will become slaves of personal imagination I don't belong to vanity artists.Sorry for mine bad english...
