Kontakt 3 Issues with EWQLSO Gold

Featured Replies

I hope this is the right sub-forum for this question. Oh well.

(Note: I'm using a PC)

I'm having playback issues with Kontakt 3 and my copy of EWQLSO Gold. This occurs in Sibelius, and in the Kontakt 3 player. When I try to load a sound set, Kontakt gives me this message:

The content you are trying to load is not registered! (please be sure to start he application that came with the content at least once)

The only thing is, my copy of EWQLSO Gold is registered. I've looked elsewhere on the web for this problem, and I wasn't able to find a solution specific for Kontakt 3. Most of the stuff I saw was for Kontakt 2. Those that I did see involved editing the registry, and my feeling is that will be the case here.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks,

-Nick

Have you tried contacting EWQL tech support?

If your copy is legal, then all you need to do is re-open Service Centre and try re-registering, then opening the standalone, then working with the plugin. If that doesn't work, then — as Phant suggested — give EW a call and explain the situation and they'll be happy to get it all fixed up for you, they've got a pretty good support system.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. Usually I hate dealing with tech support, which is why I posted here first. I guess I should have gone to them first. Fortunately they were able to get it up and running. Thanks anyways though.
