July 18, 201015 yr Hello beautiful people. This is song witch i composed in Reason 4 for instruments:tabla, oboe, harpsichord, sitar, drums bas with a little bit. this music is little experimental, because i wanted create a electro form from harpsichord as a bas. Is this instrument sounds good? Thank for any tip. Christopher who knows
July 18, 201015 yr Interesting song you got here. Like, very interesting themes you got going, but personally I like it. As for having the harpsichord as a bass actually sounds pretty cool. 2:25 is a nice change. It seemed necessary since the song slightly gets repetitive, but you saved it nice fills also! I like them a lot! So basically maybe it could have been shorter, but it works as it is. I bet if you added lyrics this could be a real cool song. Anyway...interesting themes you got, the harpsichord really works, and I look forward to hearing from you more!
July 18, 201015 yr Cool! I found myself nodding my head at the "chorus". Doesn't even sound like a harpsichord. Sound like some techno instrument. good one.
July 18, 201015 yr Cool little piece here!! I really got the feeling of a funky groove here :D The oboe at times could do with some tweaking at times in terms of realism, but for a electro piece, I suppose that that isn't much of a problem. I really love the inclusion of the piano (or sitar??)!! I agree with DorbyBorby though, this piece needs a little more thematic variety - no matter how good a theme is it still gets depressing after 3 minutes. One little nitpick - I think that it'd sound a little better at the start if the harpsichord was a little shorter and staccato like, it might just increase the anticipation ;) Perhaps you can also consider making the end a little less abrupt (unless it's meant to loop) Thanks for sharing!!
July 18, 201015 yr Interesting piece. If you wanna go for something funkier, you could switch the harpsichord for a clavinet. It's fun that you say it's experimental, because usually that implies conceptual, or cold. This, on the other hand, is a lot fun. Cheeselord makes a good point about the oboe and realism in an electronic piece. But, realism never hurt anyone. Maybe you could process them a bit and make them sound a bit more manufactured. Nice variation. You had a good verse and chorus that I was worried you were just gonna repeat those until the end. What would be good to hear though is a section where you take out the drums completely and have a new simpler beat, or new beat at all and just the instruments. That will vary it up. And for the ending, what are you gonna do...interesting. Not bad. Nice work, tercjawski -Johna
July 18, 201015 yr interesting piece . i like the funky feelings it gives . but i think its a bit boring as it lacks realism , but thats just the problem with most samples:S . nice groovy feeling during most of the middle part , but its repetitive ! .anyway keep it up . -Abd
