Lake Adventure

Alternative title: Boy in a boat

Little adventure suite.

Story behind:

There was a little boy who dreamt a lot. He wasn't allowed to go outside much, and every night he leaned towards the window and sadly peered into the dark waters of the huge lake in front of parents' house, but with no luck.

Time passed, and one night he saw a small gleam of light in the darkness. He was told that it was just the flickering moonlight, but he believed. And one day he decides to take a risky trip to touch the miracle.

Nice sound, SkyLynx! I like the new colours at 0:50.

The speed up at 1:13 was a cool choice. Lotsa adventure in this music. Sounds like the imagination of a young boy.

Nice shimmering at 3:00. Totally feels like flickering moonlight. I'm glad you've done away with that string ostinato. I don't know much of it I could handle.

Neat ending. I like it.

Great piece SkyLynx. Most of the transitions were pretty smooth between sections. A lot of the track sounded like underscore to a video, but I don't think there was any video, right? 1:30 till 3:00 could have been a little bit shorter but it still sounded good.

Yes, I sometimes feel a bit of repetitiveness in the first half. But as you said it was written as an underscore for a mini scene, if I may (which was never filmed, just my imagination). So I kind of prolonged it to fit imaginary length of scenes sequence. I don't know how to explain =)
