So one day, my brother was making this really ironic rpg on his amazing video game making program that I don't understand, and he said to me, "I need a soundtrack that's really adventurous in a dorky kind of way. Think Legend of Zelda." So here is the result of that! It's not the greatest piece of music ever written, but I was ten, so I'll give myself a break. I think it has it's moments!Magma

hmm the notes are kind of ..... sustainy... it wasn't like that on my Compy! I wonder why? Probably for some computer reason I don't understand :P

Given your unique circumstances, I took some liberties and converted your midi file into better-sounding samples (mine aren't great, but anything's better than straight-out midi, right?), and also provided a PDF Score of your work (which is rough, because of the way my music software read the midi file). Being able to provide a score is very important around here, so let me see if I can help you learn how to do it.

Google search "PDF Creator". Once you've found a link, download it and install it on your computer. It will now occupy itself as a "virtual printer" for your computer. It's like actually printing something, except the pages appear on your screen instead of on actual paper.

Now go to whatever software you use (what software do you use, by the way? Hopefully something that will allow you to make a score) and click "Print". Once you've done that, you should see a list of printers to choose from, and among this list should be PDF Creator. Click PDF Creator, and then select "Print". Voila! You have a score of your work that you can upload to the Social Network with your file of music. At hope this is doable with your software.

As for the music itself -- you have quite a lot of raw talent! There are very thoughtful progressions in your piece, and the percussion is used pretty well too. It also really fits the feel of happy-go-lucky, yet tongue-in-cheek, and being able to make something your "employer" wants is a valuable skill

You have a lot of potential -- keep it up :D

oh my gosh, that's so kind of you! Thank you! I have this written on Finale Allegro 2002. (I inherited it from my great-grandmother. I'm honestly not kidding.) I can probably make it into a PDF with those steps, although my score is rough too! I had never really learned to write playable music, I just usually went, "you know what would sound good here? an E. A really high E." I'm actually trying to write some stuff for real instruments right now! How did you manage to make it sound so pretty? That's amazingly better! Hmm now I need to figure out how to somehow balance the volume of the parts so I can hear some of the parts that are drowned out. Google here I come! Thank you again!

I ain't gonna lie: it's repetitive. But MAN I love your harmonies, which is just about all this piece is.

More. :)

Thanks for sharing!
