Hilarious and fun piece. Have you heard the Breaking Winds? It's a bassoon quartet that did a medley of Lady Gaga songs.

Pretty good, but I think you could have done more to make it interesting, because the song looses a lot with out the words and the highly produced arrangement.

Thanks for the comments. I tried to be as close to the original music as possible and much of it with the monotone vocals is somewhat boring and repetitive. I'll probably keep tweaking it and employ more creative license with it.

I hate to say this, but...

it needs drums. Which means if it was ever to be performed, you'd need condenser mics to maintain balance. You obviously want to maintain the pop sound as per the original, but it ain't gonna happen with quartet alone. I don't feel the form and styling of the song here without drums. In addition, some of the higher tessituras make the voicings sound quite thin and thus the energy dissipates quite a bit throughout.

Also, the chord voicings/inversions in the intro and ...erm, the 'kicker' I think it's called, don't sound right...

This has potential! I think once you figure out how to make this piece really sound like the actual song with this totally different instrumentation, you'll discover how to make really good arrangements.
