April 10, 201115 yr Hey Sepharite. Neat piece. Good energy at 0:33 when gravity is pulling you down. I love the key changes you're doing from 0:33 to 1:09. Very cool. I think the guitar line in that section could be a bit more steady. You want this section to groove so you want the rhythm to be tight. What if you added in some drums or other percussion to help with the energy of this section? Is the guitar chord on 1:09 the crash? Sounds like a tiny crash. I think I'd like that to sound more significant like if you added a kick drum or something else at the same time. Nice electric pianos after 1:09. Thanks for sharing, Sepharite! -John
April 11, 201115 yr Author I agree, the middle section is really unstable. I was recording it without a metronome and there's a slight 5ms delay input, which makes it hard to be on time with triplet rhythms. But I'll try to fix it up sometime. Yeah the chord is the crash. I was thinking more of a large impact, but outside of the ship, it's almost insignificant. I'll play around with it some more later. Thanks for the comments.
