Not a bad work. I think your progression is a bit predictable, I would've like to have seen a bit more adventurous change in the progression. Also the runs at around 2:50 came a bit to late for me. I think you should've introduced that a bit earlier. From the start till then you sat in sort of a stasis with the theme and harmony - wasn't really enjoyable. Other than that, good work.

hi,

interesting stuff, sounds like jazz going to classical, got some great dynamics in there-is that live recording or midi notations?

i think its more of a basis to a piece, you got some motives there and harmony developing well, now its time to find how to arrange it and how to build the parts so the melody will sound most brilliant with it.

in any case i like it!

thanks, it is one of my first longer pieces that i have played on my concert, however, this is soundfile made by Finale (.midi) and Garritan (Steinway sound) ..

The ending was pretty abrupt. It sounded like a new section rather than the end of the work. The middle section could also have been better. The slow tempo together with the aforementioned "stasis" makes it hard to get through. Although I do like your harmonic language.
