April 22, 201114 yr A little fanfare-type theme which I developed into a short, noble cue. Ivy League

Btw what did you use to compose it ? was it all sequenced or did you compose it using sibelius /notation software??
April 24, 201114 yr Author Hey , what a wonderful piece! you managed to make it sound joyful and very film like! the theme is very nice, and the orchestration is very solid! i loved it !!! keep it up. Btw what did you use to compose it ? was it all sequenced or did you compose it using sibelius /notation software?? Thanks for the comment abd_zibdeh! This piece, like all my pieces, are solely sequenced. I do use Finale occasionally to orchestrate some things, but it's mostly done in a sequencing program.
April 24, 201114 yr thats quite impressive , because i find it harder to get a solid orchestration using sequencers only . anyway man , if you have time check out my latest piece: http://forum.youngcomposers.com/t30265/let-it-begin/
April 25, 201114 yr L-l-l-laaadies and gentlegerms, the King and Queen has just arrived. Beautiful instrumentation. I really like the Noble feel this has. VSTs?
April 25, 201114 yr Great full sound here, TRK. The instruments lose a little realism on the 8th note rhythms from 0:28-0:37 or at 0:45. Sweet harp at the end. Tickling the back of my head. Solid mix. Everything came through nicely. Peace, -John
May 4, 201114 yr Very rich and full sounding mix, I like the way you let that woowind instrument take a turn at the theme at 0:41. Is it an English horn? The composition sounds to my ears, filled with joy and with a touch of sweetnes. Solid piece you composed there. :phones:
