Music in the future

Featured Replies

I think the music in the future will consist entirely of electronic sounds like "bleep" and "bloop".

I hope you're right...

I was being tongue-in-cheek, but I certainly hope I'm not right. Who knows how I will feel a decade from now, but I hope that for the most part, acoustic instruments will still reign. I do think, however, that more innovative ensembles will be explored. How about a Sax, Cello and Nylon Guitar trio?

I actually think that high quality samples will be created, and the most innovative ensembles and musical styles will be created by those, in their bedroom or garage, with absolutely no knowledge of musical theory, that creates the most incredible, most intricate, most innovative music that you've never heard.

I was being sarcastic.. And I agree with you. I at least hope that arcoustic instruments will play a role in the future.

"bleep blop"

congratulations, you just made a new famous rap that will have millions of hits. good for you.

lol

Yeah! Yeah! Let's marginalize music that is strange! Woot! It has NO PLACE in musical circles!

Because that doesn't happen already.

That sounds sexy.

How about a Cello, Sax, and Lute trio with the lute fretted to 17-edo?

Haha that is sooo something you would suggest Keys.

I am recording a short prelude for fretless guitar and ocarina in 17-edo. Maybe I'll upload it when It's finished.
